[TODO] Reuse Makefile data for extension building?
Reported by Eero Saynatkari | November 20th, 2007 @ 12:50 AM | in 1.0 preview
The various Makefiles have a lot of platform-specific conditionals for build flags etc. These should be reused to the maximum degree in building extensions such as syck to avoid duplication an achieve consistency.
The best method would probably be to either just create a make target for extensions or then abstract the whole thing away somewhere and generate both the Makefile and the extension building code from it.

This will likely be addressed as a part of the platform config but it still remains as of right now.
