There was no "noop" operation in vm/llvm/instructions.cpp. See patch for more details.

Separated Rakefile changes to own patch.
Note that Rakefile changes now require llvm-g++ installed when building ...

I'm closing this for now. The Rakefile change needs llvm-g++ and also needs #666 to be fixed. I think this discussion should continue there.
