[PATCH] for CONTRIBUTORS file generation

I'm seeing the librake/release.rake file and can read this TODO: THANKS/AUTHORS file could be autogenerated from git - but, # how? lots of custom text in both.
I wrote a task that generates the commiters list and save in CONTRIBUTORS file.
